കളിച്ചിരികള്‍ മാഞ്ഞുപോയി, കളിവാക്കുകള്‍ ഈണമായി...
കളി വീടിനുള്ളില്‍ നമ്മള്‍ നിഴലുകളെപ്പോല്‍ മൂകരായി...
ഹൃദയരാഗത്തിന്‍ സ്വരലയം അറിയാതെ അലിഞ്ഞുപോയി...
പൂമിഴികള്‍ എങ്ങോ സാന്ത്വനം നിനച്ചു ഇന്നു തേങ്ങലായി...
പരിഭവങ്ങള്‍ തീരുമോ... മനസ്സിലേ കനല്‍ അണയുമോ ...
പറയാത്തതോ ഞാന്‍ അറിയാത്തതോ...
കുസൃതി കിനാവുകളില്‍ പിണക്കങ്ങള്‍ ഏറെയായി...
നിറമുള്ള വാക്കുകള്‍ക്കായി ഇരു മനവും കൊതിച്ചുപോയി...
ഇരുള്‍മൂടിയ മനസ്സുകള്‍ ഇനി പ്രണയം കാത്തിരിപ്പായി...
ഇണമൈനകളെപ്പോല്‍ ഇനിയും പുല്കാന് വെമ്പലായി..

Rahul! For all the crazy times you went through while getting this one perfected, I have only one thing to say. It was worth the pain. Its just absolutely beautiful poetry!
